Volunteer Opportunities

Your time is the most valuable thing you can offer

As a small, not-for-profit organisation, Metro Community Hub does its best to provide support and activities to members without charging an arm and a leg. So, although we employ staff to run programs and activities, our wonderful volunteers play a vital role in everything we do.
Volunteers are needed to assist in all sorts of ways, and we have plenty of different roles and programs you can help with. On the job training is provided by our staff, and we carry volunteer insurance that covers people aged 18 to 90.

We’re always happy to welcome new faces wanting to volunteer their time in supporting our members. Our volunteers contribute countless valuable hours of their hard work each month, contributing to member support, activity coordination and delivering classes and activities. Many of our volunteers have been actively involved with us for decades, but short-term volunteers needing experience or looking to put their spare time to good use are more than welcome to join the team!

Metro Community Hub is a local, community-focused not-for-profit organisation. We provide a range of services, activities and outings for older people, all aimed at helping them make and maintain relationships and improve their quality of life. One of the best ways for us to deliver on that promise is to get involved and play a role in connecting our communities.
