Community Space Hire
Host your next function at Metro Community Hub
Metro Community Hub has several spaces available for hire across the facility. Our function rooms play an important role in helping us connect with local community groups and fund the services we provide to members. Each time you rent a space for a meeting or function at Metro, you’re contributing to the services we offer and helping your community grow together.
Our venue is fully accessible for people with all ability levels featuring accessible bathrooms and a sealed driveway and carpark. Hire rates are discounted with community group budgets in mind, and we have a limited number of spaces available for groups who want to book a regular space to meet in.
First Floor
Spaces for small to medium groups and workshops
Upstairs we have a large meeting room that’s suitable for up to 25 people and is ideal as a space to hold most types of meetings, training, workshops, or gentle exercise groups. The space is air conditioned and includes access to a small kitchenette suitable for preparing snacks and drinks.
We also have a smaller meeting room that’s suitable for up to 10 people. Our smaller space is ideal for meetings, training, interviews or small group workshops. The room is air conditioned but doesn’t have access to a kitchenette.

Ground Floor
Need more space? Host your event in our meeting hall
On the ground floor you’ll find our large meeting hall. The hall is licensed for up to 120 people and it includes access to a stage and kitchen facilities. There’s limited parking at the rear of the hall but street parking is available in the surrounding area.
Anyone wanting to use the hall for an evening event needs to clean, vacate and lock the hall by 10pm, or 9pm on Sunday nights as a courtesy to our neighbours. There are some restrictions on the activities that can be held in the hall, contact us for more information.
