Metro Community Hub supports the community by offering spaces for meetings, training, workshops, support groups. We have limited vacancies during the week, both am and pm, and weekends for regular hirers.
Our rates are already discounted with the community group in mind. Our Centre is fully accessible with all ability access and bathrooms, sealed driveway and car park, and is air conditioned.
Our hall is licensed for up to 120 people and costs $25 per hour plus a security and key deposit.
Hall hire includes access to the kitchen and stage. There is limited car parking at the rear of the hall. Hire time includes set up and clean up.
Evening hires require the hall to be cleaned, vacated and locked by 10.00 pm every night (9.00 pm Sunday as a courtesy to our neighbours).
In accordance with Brisbane City Council requirements, we are restricted in the hire the hall for parties e.g. birthdays of any ages, engagement or wedding or large social gatherings where noise will create a disturbance.
We have a large meeting room upstairs suitable for up to 25 people for meetings, training, workshop $20 an hour with a security key bond applicable. The room is air conditioned and has access to a kitchenette.
Our small meeting room is idea for smaller groups of up to 10 for meetings, training, interviews and is $15.00 an hour plus security and key bond. There is no access to kitchen facilities with this room.
In some cases, we are able to take bookings are short notice, depending on what the purpose of the hire is.
